Consuming content is great and fun buttttt if it’s your inspiration source that is not gonna be the best strategy long term.
You already have the ideas within you.
In the very beginning I was scrolling a lot for content ideas and inspiration. And honestly, I think that was the biggest reason I wasn’t very proud of what I was creating.
It wasn’t ME.
Yes I believed what I was saying but it wasn’t 100% the way I would say it.
I think that’s what happens when we lean too much on scrolling for inspiration. Subconsciously we water down our own personality bc of how we saw someone else say the same thing.
“It worked for them, it must work for me.”
Nope! Most of the time it’s actually the opposite. What works for someone else will most likely not work for you. People will follow you because of YOU, not solely the content you post.
If you’re struggling to get inspired, try creating breaks. What I mean by this is creating a break in your routine and doing something different to get your mind clear. Forcing content ideas is probably the best way to continue feeling uninspired and your audience will feel it too. Take a walk, take a shower, play new music, stay off of your phone for a few hours, etc.
I swear my best ideas come to me at 10pm when I’m going to bed LOL.
