Here's a Great Freebie or Something

And here's Information about it. Click here!

I know that feeling. You created your Instagram account for your business and you’re looking at “0 followers” and it feels like you’re looking up Mount Everest.

I was there too. Before I had the 11,000 followers I do now, I had 0 too. It felt daunting but I started climbing up the mountain anyway.

So if that’s you right now, or you’re sitting at 100, 200, these are the strategies I implemented to get my first 1,000 followers. And eventually 10,000+!

PICK YOUR NICHE

Did I lose you already? LOL. Don’t leave yet! When I tell my clients to niche down, what I mean is niche down the problem you solve for your target audience. How do you help your ideal client? What problems are they experiencing right now that you solve for them? People buy and will want to work with you to solve some kind of problem they’re dealing with. That’s what your content should speak to!

ATTRACT, NURTURE, CONVERT

There’s 3 phases you should be taking your audience through. Attracting new followers in, nurturing them, and converting them. Attracting them in might be doing some kind of trending reel or reel that will get a lot of engagement. Then you can nurture them doing a high converting carousel. Lastly, you can convert them in your stories. Don’t neglect any one type of content because you want to be taking them on a journey.

BE CONSISTENT

If you can post 3 times per week and that’s sustainable for you, great! If you can post 5 times, great. The key is being consistent and showing up every single week for your audience. **Note: I do suggest posting at least 3 times per week, especially if you are starting a new account.

SHOW UP ON STORIES

Building a personal brand means getting personal. I don’t mean sharing your life story for the internet! I mean showing up everyday so your audience remembers you and looks forward to seeing what you have to say. Show your face! Don’t be shy.

Still be strategic on stories. Think about how you can tie it back to your niche and the problem you solve for your audience. For example, I talk about how I can travel because of the Instagram and business I’ve built. I’m not talking about travel like I’m a travel blogger, I’m tying it back to my niche.
